Hello.

ABOUT ME

Instructional Designer, Purdue University

I am currently employed by Purdue University (Purdue Online) as an Instructional Designer in the Learning Design and Technology (LDT) Program in the College of Education.  As an instructional designer, I broadly support teaching and learning through my multifaceted role which includes learning design, course development, and providing support to faculty and adjuncts to enhance and develop courses and learning communities relating to innovations and effective practice in instructional design. One of my favorite aspects of my position is being able to communicate with different shareholders - department heads, faculty members, adjuncts, students, and other individuals at different offices across Purdue's campus. I strive on keeping the LDT Program one of the best programs in the nation by providing cutting-edge educational strategies in our online courses.

Doctoral Student, Purdue University

As a current doctoral student in Learning, Design, and Technology at Purdue University, I am focused on gaining the knowledge and skills to be a an effective instructor and researcher. In particular, my focus is on increasing my capacity to:

  • Identify and understand problems in instructional design settings

  • Sharing evidence-based practices with practitioners and faculty
